Internet and Networking

A CD caught on the web. Mmmh! Tasty! Just getting onto the internet and using email can be a challenge for some badly-behaved computers. We can deal with this.

However, what’s getting increasingly popular is linking multiple computers up to use the same internet connection. This is cheaper and easier all round than having separate connections, and far less annoying than having computers with no internet access. And when computers are linked together, they can share files and printers, play games against each other, and generally save you time and effort. Banish floppy discs, for a start.

You can even do it wirelessly, which has become cheap and reliable. And especially nice for laptops with good batteries...
